    Beef patties were so good my teenage Grandaughter ate hers and mine. The food was good for take-out.

    I'm a Cobourg local for over 2 years now and I can say with confidence and certainty that this takeout eatery is the best value in Northumberland county.

    The patties are good but they're not the flagship of this place. The OXTAIL dinner on beans and rice are made IN-HOUSE and is to DIE FOR. For 14$ you're getting a great authentic Jamaican dinner that you can barely finish - I could barely finish it and I'm 220lbs.

    For context I've been spoiled by the patty houses in Toronto. Excited to have a local but first impressions not great. Filling was extremely light, and no puff to the pastry. Looking forward to seeing this operation grow though and will be going back to see how things improve.

    The patties are pretty good. Meat filling is decent. Pastry is fluffy. Owner and staff are nice. Spiciness isn't as spicy as I'd like, but it's good. At $3 a patty, it is a bit more expensive, but being the only Jamaican place around it has the premium.
