I have recently rediscovered KFC. perhaps it’s my imagination but the taste is lighter and fresher than I recall. Or it could be that the Bank street location I’ve visited is particular about the prep ?
My guilty pleasure is the spicy chicken wings they make! Overall the chicken is tasty and fresh... IF you go at meal times. I had somewhat dry chicken also once so I always ask when the food was made. I’m not fond of the sides other than the fries, though I note many people love the coleslaw. It’s too sweet for me. Kids love the popcorn chicken and fries. Watch out for the calories. 5 wings are around 380 calories. Not bad if you eat a salad with it sandwiches are close to 500-600 calories. Some a bit more. The bucket is a good value if you are busy and don’t have time to cook.
