Swiss Chalet

The waitress made me feel rushed during my meal.. I had a couple bites of chicken left and she hovered around and took m my plate the soon as my last bite she took mg plate.

Fast and exceptionally friendly service. Quality food at affordable prices. Highly recommended. Was pretty quiet for Monday lunch time.

I know it's going to be considered borderline heresy (because I'm french Canadian) ... But I preferred Swiss chalet's chicken breast over our classic St-Hubert BBQ ????

Dirt cheap, juicy chicken free refill drinks. What's not to like? It's not as delicious as St-Hubert but it's like half the price so I can't complain.

Excellent place - wide variety of options on the menu: ribs, wings, chicken, roast meat, shrimps and sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed the food. Gravy was more like meat juices instead of thick/rich and could have used better texture and flavour. Ribs were excellent, tender meat, well cooked, good sauce, both back and side. Roast meat wasn't that good - not the rustic meat taste I was hoping for. Wings has an excellent size, well cooked and side meat. Wiped out quickly.

Table service was excellent, friendly staff and knows their menu well, and taking care of customers all the time.

Hygiene: very clean dining area and bathrooms.

Price: great price-quantity-quality value, but... Super small side order portions (low cost coleslaw comes in a sampler container that you would find on an economy class flight or hospital tray).

Main challenge: slow food service. Orders were taken quickly after we were seated but I think kitchen has a heavy load of orders and food took too long to get to the tables. Slow food service = colder food. Rainy day too many delivery and takeout? Will go again to try on a quieter day. (Sorry no photos taken, everyone was too hungry and dove in as soon as food arrived).
