Pazzo Taverna and Pizzeria

Amazing food and service. They were very busy and we came without a reservation and they were able to find a seat for us. The food was delicious. We both got the hen and butternut squash soup - amazing! Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and specials.

No complaints about food. Great selection of pasta, pizza and wine. Our food arrived quickly and it was delicious. The only complaint I have is for the staff. Found two of them very immature and maybe its due to their age and inexperience working in a fine dinning establishment. We arrived to the restaurant without a reservation, were told we do not need one upstairs, but the hostess proceeded to tell us (in a bratty voice) we would have to be done in one hour. She then repeated it one more time once we were seated. After we placed an order, and about 45 minutes in, another staff approached us asking to pack up our food? I was just taken back as this is the first time this happened to me. I would come back for the food but I hope they train their staff in some basic customer service skills.

Pazzo Taverna has a fantastic menu along with a great wine list. Much more than typical Italian food to offer. My favourite was the Braised Lamb Shank. Oysters were nice and fresh too!
My wife is on a specific diet due to food allergies and the entire restaurant from the hostess to the kitchen was incredible in helping us make her dining experience enjoyable and "normal" for a change.
I think it's our favourite place to eat in Stratford.

This is our favourite restaurant in Stratford! We go here every year when we go to see a play. A lovely atmosphere, delicious food (and cocktails!) and excellent customer service. You get what you pay for here and it’s worth it. The staff are so friendly and accommodating - we’ll be coming here for years to come!

We ate at the pizzeria. Good food at a reasonable price. Mussels were delicious and pizza was very good - nice thin crust and good toppings. Definitely make a reservation if you want to go during theatre season.
