The Planet Diner

This place is ahhhhmazing! It's 99% Vegan with no dairy on site. The menu has so many tasty options. There are 2 carnivore options (pulled pork and breakfast platter) The milkshakes are smooth, creamy and yummy! The desserts are also fantastic. Everything from start to finish left smiles on our faces. The ladies running the Diner are super friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was true to the Diner experience. Most definitely already planning another trip back.

Tasty food with lots of vegetarian options. Reasonably priced and right across the road from the Avon theatre, it's a nice place to go for a pre-show meal. They don't take reservations but we were able to get a table for 3 on a Friday at 530 without issue.

Planet Diner checked all the boxes for us - lots of vegan food options for my companions, all day breakfast, great burgers and fries, giant salad to share, delicious waffle and ice-cream for dessert also shared because we were stuffed, great local beer and coffee. The staff were very nice. And, it was all very affordable, including lots of free street parking after 6. We even took home their vegan cinnamon buns for the next day. So delicious!

Food is great! As a carnivore it's great to go somewhere my Vegetarian dinner companion has plenty of options but I can still get some meat if craving it. However the vegan food is so good I don't miss the meat.

We came to this amazing restaurant with my service dog. Ms. Juliette was very welcoming and sweet. Her smile and her positive attitude made us enjoy the delicious food even more. We highly recommend this restaurant. So clean and refreshing.
