“Ate lunch here today and it was really good! Pizza was amazing! The service was on the poor side- it took a while for us to get menus, and we were never checked on. BUT all you have to do is go to the front counter and ask for whatever you need. I'd imagine the lady working, who was all by herself, had a lot going on. So its no problem for me to be an adult and ask for what i need to have a good meal!”

“Bought a 6 piece bucket of original style chicken today. The pieces were HUGE and I could eat only 3. All breast meat except one wing. This was my first time at KFC in about 10 years. The flavour and coating seemed identical to the original. The service was literally instant. I paid for my order and was handed the bucket in less than a minute. The chicken was warm but not hot or fresh from the fryer. Two employees, both friendly and efficient. I will definitely go back next time I have a craving for good ole Colonel Sanders recipe. I don’t know about the rest of the stuff they sell, but the original chicken is still the same. I suggest you ignore the ratings and try for yourself. My experience was excellent.”

“I have to come here at least once a week just for the crazy bread, for my 4 year old. She just loves it and I have come to love it too.The price's are fantastic for every thing. All the food is delicious. The service is fantastic. There is this one staff member who gives my daughter a little bag of their cookies almost every time she is working and we come in. That makes my daughter feel so happy and she is very fond of that woman (Me too). We love coming here and will continue to come. We just can't resist the crazy bread. ????”

“this is the best diner ever. We usually stop for breakfast once a week. The food is amazing, and the portions so large I can't eat it all. I told my daughter that I think we will get one breakfast from now on and split it. Even though the menu suggests it is two eggs, I have never seen two eggs cook up to look like six. But they do it. Service is wonderful, and very friendly.”

“Passed through on way to someplace else stopped in for bathroom break stayed for breakfast. Cute roadside diner on the side of the road on the outskirts of Monkton. A bright cheery place with staff that match. We had the daily breakfast special eggs bacon toast potatoes of some kind and coffee. Portions were good and food tasty. Very small town friendly staff. If you are passing through or maybe just roadtripping around I recommend that you stop in... They'll be glad you did”

“Decent food. Worth the money. Actually this is a unique little non-chain local restaurant. We would go back. Room for about 30 diners. No blaring tv's. Some booths; some tables & chairs. One cook/server on a Monday evening about 7pm. Two little ones, about 4 to 6 years of age in a close by area watching their tv. Looked like a day care area. One other couple when we arrived; one take-away while we were there. We each had Combo C. Mine was very good; no left overs. My wife had to have a to-go box. Hot tea. No desserts. We are from the Detroit area and average age "80". We would take family there. We enjoyed our dinner; especially the lack of blaring music or boisterous diners. Go and enjoy.”

“Today we had the chicken club with fries, the daily chicken pot pie special, and chicken wings. All were great! I ordered suicide wings, but the owner came out and told me they had run out of sauce. What set sunset apart in my mind was the owner went out of their way to make a one off hot sauce in the kitchen to make some hot wings for me. The wings were good size, and crispy the way I like them. I will be returning to try them once they get hot sauce back on the shelf.”

“We stopped for lunch on our way up north and are so happy we did! Our food was excellent; crispy wings with many sauce choices, chicken Cesar wrap with a generous amount of chicken and you must get the garlic Parmesan fries. As we were paying, the table next to us said their burgers were big, delicious and homemade. I rarely write google reviews but we were surprised about the quality of our food and wanted to share how much we enjoyed it. These guys are genuine and I wish them luck with their future in the restaurant business!”
