The tacos were a bit small for the price. Flavours were a tad bland. But, I enjoyed the creativity of the meal. Just seemed a bit expensive for the size
We found the place cozy, welcoming, and authentic to every flavour on the palate. We were greeted and supported in our choices for lunch by the Chef who is a delightful and warm person. Loved the Pollo di crema tacos, and the Choriqueso. You can mix and match your tacos which is awesome. Great ambience, fresh ingredients, perfectly sized portions, and trip worth to Peterborough from Toronto just to indulge in the food!✊????
The food is fantastic, reasonably priced and the service is top notch. I also highly enjoy the owners Martin and Kelly.
My hubby and I found this place by accident one day in our travels through Peterborough. The reviews said authentic cuisine and my interest was piqued. Upon entering we were greeted by the owner/chef who was very enthusiastic and he proceeded to explain the menu and all the choices. The smell in the air was fantastic and the food matched the smell. It was love at first bite! This is our new favorite place to eat and we now look forward to our Peterborough trips... Thank you for being so delicious!
But the staff are friendly and explain the varieties and flavour combinations. We took their recommendations, trying one each of steak, pork, chicken, and beef, with several mouth watering garnishes (and eye watering in a few cases). The pickled onions and jalepenos were our favourite. Sharing 4 tacos and a wonderful mango salad set us back $20 (daily special). Three pops and tip put it just over $30 but I'd say it was money well spent.
