(November 10, 2019, 2:29 pm)My friend and I drove to Peterborough for a reunion after 20+ years. We wanted somewhere with a quiet but modern atmosphere and a great meal. Rare exceeded our expectations! We both had steak (filet mignon... Cooked to perfection!) with vegetables and potatoes (hers: twice baked, mine: au gratin, both: exceptional! But the show stopper was the side of mushrooms! They were amazing! We would definitely recommend and go back when we are in town again!

(September 2, 2019, 3:35 pm)Party of 6 they add the tip for you no matter how slow the service. Ask about the price of the "special" , ours was $72 for a 1/2" thick steak that was tough and fatty but tasty.

(July 18, 2019, 1:19 am)By far the best food we've had in a very long time. Beats every other steak house hands down. The staff was absolutely amazing, friendly and well informed. Great dining experience! Cannot wait to go back.
