Silver Bean Cafe

Visited the silver bean cafe for a quick breakfast and ended up spending over an hour just sitting by the lake.

We tried their eggs and toast, cilantro burrito, coffee and hot chocolate. The food is simple and pleasant to have - but the ambience and the location help it transcend to the next level.

If you have some time and would want to enjoy the sun before they close for winter this is a definite to visit place.

This is one of my favourite coffee shops. Beautifully situated overlooking the river. Open air patio with lots of tables. Friendly staff and good coffee. A really pleasant place to sit and relax.

Great place to hang out in summer. Relaxed feel. Has nice patio and great river view. They also have toys for kids and babies for entertainment while the parents enjoy their meal.
Also a nice place for ice cream and then go for a walk by the river. They have a good selection of food as well. They also have good selection of cafe drinks. Although I would have liked for more cold drink options like slushies and cold shakes. Oh and the table numbers are cool.

What a great restaurant right on the water. I was visiting and loved it here. I came with my friends who brought their dogs and we sat outside in a very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is so nice here. No one minded the dogs.There were vegetarian and vegan options on the lunch menu which was very nice. If I go back to this part of town I will definitely be back.

Finally got around to visiting the cafe after missing out on it last summer. It was very busy when we were there but the staff got our orders to us quickly. I appreciated the availability of lactose-free alternatives for our coffee!

The seating outdoors is probably the best part since you get a nice view and your food/drinks can be delivered right to your table. This time we only got coffees but would definitely come again to try the food!
