(April 13, 2019, 7:32 pm)What a little bijoux in Lakefield. Arrived for an early dinner. It was the PAL menu which offered two excellent selection for appetizer, entree and dessert for $25. The tomato and red pepper soup was flavourful, with a bit of a kick. I had also the stuffed chicken breast with goat cheese. Other dining guests had the pork tenderloin which was very good as well. Portions were on the smaller side in my opinion but otherwise delicious. For growing teenaged boys, larger portions are a must. The wild berry sherbet was tart and refreshing. It’s best to call ahead and secure a table. We weren’t aware of the PAL menu at the time but it really wasn’t a disappointment. The place is cozy and the service attentive. Highly recommend.
