Donna's Chips

On July 1st 2020 a small group of us who had been out kayaking for four hours decided to try out Donna's Chips. We were starving. We were delighted by the quality of the food and service. No delays in service – food was delivered very quickly (within minutes) even though other patrons were ahead of. Everyone agreed the chips were awesome. I also had pulled pork sandwich combo which was delicious and nicely seasoned. Others enjoyed their meal choices. Donna was very kind with her service. Since seating was very limited we decided to find a picnic bench under some shady trees in a local park to eat. Although it was blazing hot outside, it was a perfect late lunch. I highly recommend this place. As a resident of Lakefield who regularly commutes to Peterborough I will be visiting this chip truck again. To her credit Donna provided hand sanitizer and was serving food in a manner consistent with Covid-19 rules. For more info on location and the menu I understand you can visit Instagram and Facebook. My two comments are: I hope Donna sources alternative container types for the food and moves away from polystyrene aka Styrofoam(TM) and that she look into buying some used patio sets with tables and umbrellas for patrons.
