Moonshine BBQ Smokehouse

Had such a wonderful time there. Friendly staff, beautiful decor. We got the ribs and they were so delicious but my all time favorite was the fries! Homemade fresh cut fries are the absolute best! Great job Moonshine BBQ smokehouse! Can't wait to come back again.

First time we visited the Moonshine, first time I ever had Brisket...it was AWESOME! I just hope I can find a place here in Kingston that offers the same quality of meat. Our waitress was great, the food was awesome, the price is also great...we will definitely be back!

Growing up in the restaurant field for most of my life I have developed a rule about not trying a place until after it’s been open awhile. Every new place has its ups and downs when starting out it’s just the way the restaurant business is.
Now we ordered takeout which it seemed to be more of an inconvenience to the five staff members around the bar but after they got that underway the rest was not bad. Servers
The place has an interesting rustic feel to it but something could be done with the floor, looked neglected compared to the rest of the interesting design.
The Price and Food. Well $40 bucks for two meals but WOW you get your money’s worth. Pulled pork was great as well as the Brisket . The amount you get is AMAZABALLS for the price. The meat part of the meals was excellent but the fries were less then warm. The bake beans tasted great. It’s definitely worth checking out you won’t be disappointed.

Staff was very attentive and super friendly! The food was great and well priced! Beer was served in a chilled mug which is a nice touch! Since the restaurant just opened not long ago even the owner even came by our table to check how our experience was going, you can see he really cares! Definitely a great place to stop if you have to pass through the area while traveling!
