Very cool to see the factory in the observation deck area. The staff is very nice. The cheese curds are killer! Lots of unique items in the shop.
Excellent cheese at incredibly reasonable prices. The fresh cheese curds are out of this world. If you're in Ottawa it's definitely worth the little trip to St-Albert to stack up on some of the best cheese ever.
Large selection of excellent cheeses and other local goods in the store. A small self serve tour. Got to see part of the curd making process. Very neat! Did not have a chance to try the restaurant but the line up was always full and the menu seemed to have a number of choices. Lots of seating. Ample parking.
We went for brunch on Saturday and it was fantastic, especially for the price. I think 11.99 all you can eat, drink and coffee included. They make omelets in the spit. Under 4 is free. They have a great selection of goods and fun things in the boutique. We haven’t been too impressed with the poutines at lunch time (found they were stingy on the cheese for a cheese factory) but everything else is great and always great service.
Love this place. It is a must stop for us on way into Ottawa and on our return home. Cheese curds are soooooo delicious. The store sells a wide selection cheeses. We have eaten here twice once for lunch, grilled cheese sandwiches. The latest trip we had breakfast which was delicious. The only thing that should be noted on there web site is they open for breakfast at 7 and the store opens at 9. Thankfully they let us in early so we could continue with our 10 hour trip home. But for planning it would have been nice to know the different times. You can also tour portions of the cheese manufacturing plant.
