Mexico Lindo

Now THIS is a Mexican restaurant. Not only does it offer a more authentic experience than some other Mexican restaurants, but the food is simply fantastic! And the ingredients taste FRESH, which is something I don't even think about with most other restaurants.

Love this place. Atmosphere is great, music is awesome. Almost wish they opened the place at night as like a club/bar with latino music!! Would definitely go!

Server was super friendly and had suggestions. Food was authentic Mexican with lots of options. Great variety of drinks as well. Busy Friday night, but food came fast.

We weren't sure what to expect because the plaza that this restaurant is located in does not look so appealing (overall). But the restaurant was recommended to us so thought we would give it a shot. We are SO happy we tried this place!

It appears to be a family (or close relatives) run restaurant. Inside the lights are dimmed a bit and there is light music playing in the background. There is a LOT of decor inside the restaurant (can be considered a bit tacky but it goes with the theme of the restaurant).

We loved the demeanor of our waitress. She was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive yet not overly talkative, fake, or "extra". She responded to our questions about the menu and gave suggestions when asked. The manager/owner (?) came by too to see if everything was to our satisfaction.

We ordered the nachos and two entrees (with chicken, beef, and chorizo). They are generous with their portions, especially with the cheese! The heat level (in terms of spiciness) was wonderful as well; made to order so make sure to let them know your heat preference. The tortillas were perfect, the meats were cooked well/full of flavour, and the rice was light and fluffy. We were totally stuffed after dinner - in a good way! Yummy :)
