Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge

Great place for breakfast and lunch or anything cafe related. I meet my girls there every few months and were always happy with our experience. We always make reservations which helps as it can get busy. The last visit I went with my 4 months pregnant sister and she ordered soup and was not able to eat it as the smell of the cheese made her nausea flare up.. the manager took it back and didnt ask her to pay. Was great service.

This place is not like your typical restaurant - casual and inviting restaurant with a pretty diverse menu that almost anyone could enjoy. Had a couple dishes here before that were off the mark, but overall the food is pretty good! Huge selections of desserts and drinks. The freshly squeezed juice is delicious as well. Great place to enjoy with friends to catch up!

Went with my best friend for dessert and a coffee. The cake was nice, moist and fresh. Nicki was our waitress she was amazing. Helped us with her recommendation. Will definitely go back.

This place is best defined as "fancy enough to warrant wearing nice cloths, but casual enough to wear jeans."
Food was great with excellent portions. Drink options are good, both alcoholic and cafe. Service was excellent, with the right amount of class. Price is up there, but nothing truly outrageous.

Food is great but the service is even better. Very friendly and professional staff. Manager came over to make sure every thing is good. Made us feel very welcomed. i went once there with my best friend and went again with my son in order to introduce the place to him and Whitby Symposium did not disappoint me.
