Baxters Landing

I had the salmon on ancient grains? It was delicious. Great location at the Oshawa centre, nice decor. My only qualm is the portion sizes are quite small for the price.

Fantastic experience from the time I made our reservation to the time we left after dinner. The staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. My wife has celiac disease, so eating restaurant food is often iffy, but had no ill effects from eating off the gluten free menu.

My partner has a peanut allergy and we were addressed by the manager on what items do and do not have peanuts. The server was very accommodating in the beginning and I recommend ordering the salmon! The only downfall is we lost our server when we wanted the bills, ans had to go up the bar to pay.

Food was good for a simple menu with a few twist. The waitress was terrible. My second time there and my goodness I talk to my two old less to get things right. I'm very patient but I've been there twice in 30 days and both times the waitress was not up to par. She even forgot that she asked us for our bills and came back again and asked and messed the bills up on both occasions....it was the same waitress though so I can't speak about the others..

The food is good and has something to satisfy everyone. We got the wings to share, the line chili flavor. It was delicious. But only 7 wings total. Then I had the tuna poke (not the bowl) and my partner got the burger with fries. Both were delicious but I can't say I was "full" at the end of the day. Overall it was delicious. But I am still dreaming of the way more value for money poke I had in Kensington.
