Churchills Fish & Chips

Great place to go to get fish and chips, and always friendly and fast. Today was the first time we went in and it was super busy with takeout (dining room always full, but usually we time it a little after dinner rush so we arent going in when swamped. I really dont know how they keep everything in order amongst all the chaos, but they do, every single person got thier order correctly done, in the order they came in. Doesnt matter small or large order, over the phone, ordering takeout, or dining in. But it is the reason they are the top fish and chip shop in North Oshawa.

This is the best place ever for fish and chips. My family has been going here for over 20 years!! The people are super friendly and they dish out big portions. Also the gravy is to die for.

Nothing fancy or trendy about this place, but reliably good and legit fish and chips. This is the kind of place that gains a cult following, and for good reason: the food speaks for itself, and won't break the bank. The coleslaw that came with my haddock and chips meal was fresh, crispy, and had a vinaigrette dressing,

The food, customer service and atmosphere are all superb. Clean restaurant, friendly staff who always greet you with a smile and cozy spot for great fish & chips with yummy gravy (no lumps) and deluxe coleslaw...why do I call it deluxe coleslaw you ask?!? Because of the effort and ingredients put in it to make it awesome: cabbage, carrot, perfectly diced green peppers and celery in a sweet vinagrette. Excellent!!!! I wish I could give 6 stars out of 5!
