MATHILDA'S - Plant-based eating at its best

I went to visit the restaurant for the first time yesterday and tried their plant-based food. Let me tell you how impressed I was. Everything taste amazing!! I love the taste of your food and it makes me feel good after eating eat. I didn't feel too full, yet I was satisfied! Also, thank you for thinking about the environment by using paper bags and reusable takeout containers. I will definitely come back for more.... Frances

I eat only plant based and most times it's really difficult to find a quality dining experience. Mathilda's definitely hits the spot. I have been to many plant based restaurants from the Durham region all the way down through to Niagara Falls..i mean many. Mathilda's is honestly the best for sure. The service is very family friendly and informative of what they have to eat whether on menu or the hidden gems. I really enjoyed the food experience here. It is extremely clean and well maintained. Truly a great atmosphere!! Going back for dinner today also. I have a feeling I will be eating here quit a bit.

Excellent food!!! Great flavour and lots of variety. Delicious and healthy options. The restaurant is very nice. Modern and clean. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

I had an incredibly tasty lunch with a friend here! It was a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. We were greeted warmly and offered samples as we were trying to make choices. We loved all the samples and were thrilled that they had a sampler plate. I love my meat and would have never guessed it was meatless. And the desserts are so yummy. I will definitely be back. They also have great take aways that you can take home too. Everything is made in house and it really shows up in the flavours!!

I've been going to Fernando's since it was taken over by the Mother and son who now own and run it. Good coffee. Great breakfast, served with an orange slice. Get there before 11:00AM if you want poached eggs or the cheaper breakfast price. For lunch you can get a great fresh salad instead of fries if you ask for it.
