Jack Astor's Bar & Grill

A regular family dinner outing for our small family. Service is always attentive. Food is good. Price is right. Dinner for 2 adults and 1 kid with drinks is usually around $90. Dipping donuts are a dessert must. The kid loves (and so do I) drawing on the paper table covering. Reservations recommended on Saturday evenings, especially before movie times.

One of my favourite spots in Pickering. Good service. Good food. They used to have a chef there that made the best steak but I don’t think he works there anymore.

One of my favorite places to eat. Great food whatever you order. My two favorite things to eat there are their burger and chicken fajitas. Great fishbowl too.

Our server Harry was absolutely fantastic. We where a large party and he was so on the ball. He constantly smiled, checked in on us and was so genuine and kind. I don’t normally write reviews but I felt compelled to write a good one after our outstanding service tonight. Me and my friends had an amazing evening celebrating our friends birthday and the service we received along with great food and drinks made it even more special. Thanks so much Jacks!!

Good atmosphere and environment. Staff keep the place lively and constantly check in with you. Patio is well kept although some tables are off balance (we fixed them, no charge lol). Place is very pricey for basic apps and entrees but overall food is tasty. Servers are friendly and are very accommodating. Minus 1 star for wobbly tables.
