Chop & Wop Ristorante

Had lunch meeting. Excellent authentic Italian full of taste. Very impressed. A little pricey but really good.

We just celebrated our sons baptism here this past weekend and had an extraordinary experience coupled with impeccable service. Marco and his team were detail oriented, efficient, polite and helpful. I was in continuous contact with Marco for months prior to our celebration to be sure the event would run smoothly. Marco put me at ease and took care of everything, even decorated our party space in case I didnt have time to do so myself. The food served was absolutely mouth watering, in fact my guests repeatedly commented on the amazing taste and large portions given during the event. The staff kept the wine flowing, the courses of food coming and the overall elegant feel that I wanted. I am so happy with my decision to have Chop&Wop host my little boys baptism. It was an experience that I will never forget. Thank you a million times!

First impressions walking in was that they took the time to decorate and make the place look wonderful. Seating area was clean and comfortable. Waiter was polite and friendly. A lot of choices on the menu, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. We tried the paella and it was delicious. Also had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. Our pasta dish was delicious. One of the owners was present and warmly greeted our table. The best item I ate was the dessert, their tiramisu is amazing. Make sure you leave room to enjoy one.

The food was very good, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. I read another post that it was a Roadhouse, it is nothing of the sort.

The one side of the restaurant is near the washrooms, but other than the word "Washroom" there is nothing wrong with it. I didn't like it on first appearance, but didn't mention anything and am glad I didn't. However if you dont like that type of thing best to mention it when you make reservations.

I ordered the chicken and my wife the salmon. Both were very tasty. I had an issue with the chicken and they had no problem taking it back and fixing it. The potatoes and vegetables were amazing. I never eat my vegetables and I finished all of them! Chicken was a bit of a pain to cut up. If I was at home I'd be eating it off the bone and not using my knife :-).

We have tried this restaurant twice. We love the atmosphere and the service is great. Our only complaint is the portions could and should be larger for the price. Particularly the risotto dish, its mainly rice so it wouldn't take much for the serving size to be substantially larger. The second time my husband split the paella with another gentlemen they both felt it wasn't enough for two men. Will most likely try again, hoping that they are ironing out the wrinkles because it is a new restaurant.
