Russell Williams Restaurant

The atmosphere is cute with a throwback to old style 70s/80s restaurants. I would come back for the environment and because it didn't feel like the cookie-cutter chain style restaurant. We ordered the breakfast special and it's what you'd expect from any other restaurant serving breakfast-basic eggs, toast, bacon and potatoes. Nothing exceptional and equally greasy. The service unfortunately didn't make this place stand out. We were served coffee right away from a passing waitress who would not be the one who would eventually take care of us. It took the waitress assigned to our table about 20 minutes to get to us. During that time she was busy attending other tables, then cleaning them and also serving refills on coffee (but not to us even though we were in the middle of her section). My friend told me he wanted to order eggs over well but the last three times he tried ordering them on different occasions they always came out sunny side up and were runny (to be fair he's had the same waitress the previous times he's been there including today. So notwithstanding his experience plus mine from today, yours might be different if you get a different waitress). So this time he didn't even risk it and ordered scrambled instead. Would this stop me from coming again? Now that I know what to expect, probably not but it wouldn't be my first choice and I'll actively keep looking for other places to try.

Amazing diner.. even my difficult friend who doesn’t like anything loved it! Greek omelette was superb and service was great- will certainly come back if I’m ever in the area. Very reasonably priced as well. 10/10.

Definitely an authentic Canadian diner in a suburban neighborhood. My friend took me to this place and I had a good experience; the service was prompt, the food was hearty and delicious. I would love to be a regular if it were close to my place.

You will not be disappointed. Fast and friendly service every visit. The food is fabulous. I love the pan fried home fries. The eggs benny is so good and filling. If your a small eater maybe split it with a friend. ????. I would add a photo of my beautiful plate but I ate it. ????????

What a gem! The stand out here was the service. I can't remember being treated so well at any other place. Ok, the service was super duper, but what about the food?

Food was terrific too! I had the Russel Williams special. Which is quite simply a bit of everything they serve! ???? So good!

Coffee was great, and it seemed to be a challenge by the server for me to get to the bottom of the mug. She was by so often to top up the mug, there was no way to get to the bottom. PS I will be awake for a while.

Dining room had a classic feel to it, and was clean and roomy. They have these enormous booths that are awesome.

I'll be back, I would recommend this place no problem!
