    This small family owned restaurant is wonderful! The owners are super friendly and genuine and the food is really good.
    My first visit there was for a singles games night that I was hosting. I had tried the casaba fries for the 1st time. AWESOME!!! Once everyone else tried them, we ordered a few more plates! Not to mention a few other dishes, like the jerk chicken.
    They had a wonderful band playing live music and everyone carried on as if we were old friends. Our entire group of 14 people enjoyed their experience and would recommend Vivene's Island Cuisine!
    We have since hosted another event and have more planned at this venue.

    I have be going to this restaurant with friends on and off for the past few months, I am from the Hamilton area and chose to drive out for a tasty Jamaican meal and then hang out there. The food is alway tasty. I've tried almost everything on the menu and love them all, however my favourite is the Jerk chicken . 2 thumbs up for the food and ambiance.. Woohoo!!

    AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN CUISINE
    You know who you are! You expect your food to fill your expectations. You're uncompromising in your anticipations and you don't care about authentic cuisine. I feel terribly sorry for you because Vivene's Island Cuisine, is the real thing, the way, Mama, used to make it. If you want, unctuous-savoury Caribbean food that will leave you feeling satisfied deep in your soul, then this is the first and only truly authentic Jamaican restaurant I have ever been to. If you want hot pepper sauce, Vivene furnishes this with your order.
