The St. George Pub

Popped in hear on our way home from a hike at the Forks of the Credit provincial park. Nice classic English pub with lot's of TV's for watching a sporting event. Food was delicious. I had the curry which was very spicy and the waitress warned us about that. I ordered the coconut shrimp for an appetizer not expecting much from an English pub but there were perfectly cooked with good coconut flavour and the dipping sauce was nice and spicy.

Service was excellent with very friendly and professional staff.

Brilliant food and beer. Great service. Cool decor. Quaint location on the curve. Chicken curry was tasty but could have been saucier.

Great patio and nice atmosphere. The menu has lots of choices and the food is really good. Reasonable prices to. Gets pretty noisy inside to the point you can't hear your friends talk and the patio, which is great, is Street side and very noisy with the traffic. Hence 4 stars

St. George is the gourmet version of Pubs! Their food is delicious with full plates that for sure will leave you with a full belly. The inside does feel like a pub with wood everywhere. Great customer service and parking on site. The only reason I am giving four starts is because their wide-variety menu lacks desserts. They only have two or three options and they don't taste nearly as good as the rest of their food. Some work there to be done. But please know that if you come once, you will be coming back.

This place is at the opposite end of town for me . So after moving to Georgetown a year ago it took me a while to make it here. Great place . Excellent food . In fact I went back for dinner the next day after my first visit . Great pub ambience, good service,and above par food. Definitely worth a visit when passing through Georgetown.
