Celadon House

Sooooo good! Fresh and recipes you will not find anywhere else. Family run and very accomodating to individual needs. Also very clean. Once you try it you will keep coming back. One of my top favorite restaurants. I bring other people just to try it.

Love this restaurant; service is fast and the food is excellent. Any dish that has their peanut sauce would be a winner; I could just eat that. I try to taste something different each time, so I had the curry beef noodle soup - and I will have it again. The broth is light, and the curry beef is excellent. I only recommend this dish if you are hungry or like left overs; it is a full meal.

A long time friend and I decided to meet up and try the food out at the Celadon House. Celadon House has a very welcoming and calm atmosphere. My friend had already gotten us a spot by the window by the time I got there so there was no need for any waiting.

The service was great.

I got the spicy Tom Yum soup since it reminds me of back home (Malaysia). The Tom Yum soup comes with the options of either chicken or shrimp however I requested for a vegetarian option and they were able to swap those for mushroom instead. My friend got the Pad Thai with Tofu.

I got the appetizer sized Tom Yum soup since I did not want too much to eat, but the potion size was much bigger than I had expected, and to my friend's surprise arrived a huge bowl of Pad Thai. The service sizes are huge, so that's one thing to keep in mind before ordering as one order can feed more than 1 person. The Tom Yum soup met my expectations and did not disappoint. It was delicious, spicy, with a delicate tangy/sour flavour, and the mushrooms were great as well. My friend enjoyed her Pad Thai as well, however did not finish due to the large portion size.

Will definitely recommend to check this place out if you're in the area.
