Classic fish and chips, great tasting, very friendly service

Came in for Good Friday dinner. I dined in. Service was good. Food delivery was fast considering the day but could have been hotter. Had 2 PC's of halibut, fries, coleslaw, gravy and a pop. Sounds like a big meal but for $31.50 plus tax it wasn't all that much. Fish portions were average, slaw was a scoop. Very little fries and the side of gravy was about an ounce and a can of pop with no refills. Strange to have such small portions of the cheapest item's. Overall not the best value for my money. I'll think twice the next time I want to spend $35.60.

This place was great. The location was good and let me tell you, the food was great. I ordered cod and chips and it I got a very nice piece of fish. It was battered perfectly, fried nice and crispy and served hot. The fries were crispy and salted to perfection. The service is great also. The people there are really nice. The decorations were also great. I liked the fish charts and the ocean liner pictures. Also, they had newspapers and a tv so you could have great fish and chips and see the news. Additionally, it was all for a very good price. Highly recommend it. Great place.
