Awesome service. Every time I go there I am surprised with the quality of the service. I will recommend 100 times this restaurant to anyone. I haven’t found better service in Canada as I experienced at the Keg. Food is really good
I visited The Keg last Thursday for my birthday. It was the first time attending this restaurant in over 10 years. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the cleanliness, welcoming aura, and friendly staff working at the front desk. Vytautas was our server and he was above and beyond incredible. He was social and knowledgeable about the menu. He had a great sense of humour and was attentive to our needs. He ensured we felt comfortable and showed commitment towards making our experience great. My family and I discussed how amazing our dinner was and I just wanted to share a warm thanks to V for all the hard work, and customer service excellence exuded by him. It was a great birthday!
Ambiance was pleasant for a casual and social dinner out. Food was as good as may be expected.
We were turned off by the waiter 'pushing' while taking our orders. It's when you get one word answers to your questions about the food. Moving eye contact away so that you don't follow up with another question. Subtle message was 'let's just move along, order what the menu says and finished'.
He wasn't disrespectful just unnerving. It maybe the weekend crowd pushing service and attention time to limits but as it was our first time we visit the Keg while visiting Canada, it wasn't a great first impression. Sorry!
My girlfriend and I treated ourselves to a special dinner to celebrate an occasion, and we were both blown away by the quality of the food, staff, and atmosphere. As expected, a higher end restaurant comes with higher end service. Being someone who works in the customer service industry, this is very important to me. Shout out to Todd, who provided the best experience a customer could ask for. You and your team helped make our already special night, that much more memorable.
