When I first did the assessment with Katrina I was impressed by the questions she asked…some of them not the norm when you think health - like how do you feel after you eat a particular food. Then I attended her presentation after the assessment and was completely blown away by the depth of knowledge she shared about the body and Chinese medicine.

It was apparent then that she has a passion for what she does and an incredible wealth of understanding and education.

I’m currently seeing Katrina at What’s Good to help correct the imbalances in my energy and body. I decided to work with Katrina for 6 months because as a health coach I understand that all healing takes time and the care and compassion the everyone has at What;’s Good is outstanding. From the hour long treatments that are more than acupuncture - Katrina wants to understand what’s going on in your life, what stressors you’ve had, how you’re sleeping, what changes you’ve noticed - and she does so without judgement and with only my well-being at heart. And BTW the treatments are my hour of rest - my me time the leaves me feeling so refreshed!. The other parts of the program includes the herbs - and yes they actually taste good, along with the delicious bone broth that Charleston makes with love - they are all working - even after 3 months!

I feel the changes…many of them in traditional health areas - better sleep, more energy etc. However the best part for me is the feeling of calm within me…of not reacting to situations with angst like I used to, to dealing with an aging parent differently, to being able to release the expectations I had of myself and others. And yes are there other factors involved like eating whole foods, working with my own health coach - and I don’t believe the change within myself would have been as profound without Katrina.

Thank you so much Katrina - for what you and your team do for all your clients!

I came to What’s Good Wellness Centre with some strong neck, back, and shoulder pain from previous car accidents and injuries. From the moment I came in, it’s been an immersive experience in holistic Chinese medicine. I’ve learned so much about my health practices and how to have healthier habits moving forward. Dr. Katrina is extremely intuitive and gives me excellent, fitting advice for not just my physical pain but truly has become a shoulder to lean on, helping me make better choices in all areas of my life. She gives patients tools to dig deep and figure out the root of their issues in order to empower them and take preventative action. The cherry on top is Chef Charleston Dollano from the eatery. For my 30th birthday, I sat down with Charleston and asked him to cater a private dinner in my backyard with my closest friends and family. He blew me away and gave me an unforgettable night that I could not have even dreamt of. Not only did he go out of his way to ensure that each dish that was part of this 9 course meal was handcrafted according to my favourite foods, he created an ambiance of personal touches, fancy details, and thoughtful service all within a reasonable price. He has integrity with his cooking and only provides the freshest, healthiest ingredients. That evening and every dish I’ve had from the eatery since has always been a perfect combination of delicious and nutritious. My guests were raving about this evening and still are! I look forward to seeing both Dr. Kat and Charleston during my regular acupuncture appointments. They have made me feel like I am part of their family. I couldn’t recommend What’s Good Wellness Centre more. Wishing them continued success.

Most of you will never know pain so severe it makes you vomit or fatigue so overwhelming you cant lift your arm to brush your teeth. Invisible illnesses are incredibly hard to understand. I am very lucky to have had doctors and practitioners who have supported me along the way. Its been 7 years since I've been back to work full time. I owe a good 80% of my return to work and my continued success at balancing my health and symptoms to my acupuncturist/TCM practitioner Katrina from What's Good Wellness Centre. It's been a challenging 12 years to say the least... but Katrina and everyone at the office have always been some of the most supportive people in my life. I will never be able to thank them enough for enabling me to be able to live a (somewhat) normal life.

I have just finished an extensive course of treatments at What's Good and wanted to say how pleased I have been with this experience. Katrina and Kim are extremely knowledgeable, kind and attentive. I always looked forward to my treatments and felt well cared for. I have a much better understanding of how to eat for my health and feel so much calmer than before I started. Charleston's bone broth is delicious and even little touches like cucumber water and ginger tea while waiting for your treatments make this such a pleasant experience. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful experience.

So glad we took the plunge and signed up for the full course of treatment! It did wonders for us. I had no idea of the wide range of applications of Acupuncture!!

We found Katrina and Kim very competent and professional . They obviously know their stuff and were always happy to listen and tweak their treatment for best results.

Charleston, the Executive chef is great too. His seed bread is to die for!!!

The clinic itself is very clean and well run. Elaine and Sarah at the front desk were lovely to deal with.

Overall, What’s Good Wellness offers excellent results for money, and we have been recommending it to our friends with confidence.
