Mun Hing Restaurant

Awesome food.

Best Chinese food spot in Grimsby area. Always busy every Fri - Sun. Not unusual to see 3 cars parked out side with their hazard lights picking up take out which is good sign of how popular Mun Hing is.

While on a drive through the area we discovered this diamond in the rough restaurant. Located on the Main Street, this traditional Chinese restaurant offers excellent food at reasonable prices. Steady stream of carry out customers while we dined in, is a good sign of its popularity. Dining room is nothing special but adequate. Not too many staff on hand and I've never dined in a restaurant where your wait staff leaves before your meal is served, but food was nicely presented, delicious, generous portions and served hot. Especially enjoyed the curry shrimp. Parking nearby. No liquor license at this restaurant. Majority of business is take away.

The prices are very good, the decor is a bit lame but the food was great. They do take out and delivery.
The staff were dressed very casual (street clothes) so it was difficult to know who was working and who was hanging around.
We may not eat in again but we would definitely take out, the portions are large.
Ample free parking as Grimsby is known for. Happy to have this little place to order from.
