I had breakfast at Betty's on Monday the 16 Sep 2019 with my family. I was very impressed by this place and the food that they served.
The entrance was beautiful with all the lovely flowers and with ample free parking. My family was seated immediately. I decided to go with the Deluxe Omelette for myself and my folks ordered a variety of things including from the kids menu. When then omelette arrived, I thought that is some very very thin toast and the omelette did not look anything special. But once you bite into it, I was very impressed. It was rich and really well made. Compliments to the chef. The tea that was served when had as is black was also great. My folks liked the coffee too.
Finally I found the prices also very affordable. Well done Betty's, you now have a repeat customer. Anyone who comes to Niagara. Don't waste your time going to the expensive places at the falls; Go here.
Clean and tidy property. The gardens in front are kept and no litter anywhere. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The washrooms have a huge area for changing diapers. Very very clean. The food came fast to our table and was delicious. Well worth it.
Fish was fantastic. Need more vegetable variety cause coleslaw goes nice with fish but some people don't eat it. A small cake plate or bowl of mixed greens/salad would B nice on the menu. It seems like the Senior's R the stars here. BUT some R not so Senior & the factory assembly line flow is not appealing.
I guess it makes for expediency getting the most folks in & out.
Pretty good restaurant off the beaten path. Good service. Convenient parking. The specialty according to our pals is the fish and chips. At the end of the meal...no complaints. Some enjoyed the fresh baked pies. God place... will return.
This restaurant is a great place to eat. It is big, probably over 100 tables. Well organized, the severs are fast efficient and friendly. A bus load showed up same time as us, and we were seated and served within 5 minutes.
The food is home style cooking. Meat loaf, fish and chips etc. The desserts are out of this world. The pies are the best. So save some room. The portion sizes are huge.
Great restaurant!
