Cat's Kitchen + Bar

Just had dinner there with my family of 6. The waitress was amazing and very efficient and friendly. The food was hot and quick to arrive and really big servings. I will certainly recommend this place and will be returning.

No gluten free menu and when asked what can be made gluten free, not helpful at all. So I had a small salad and they added grilled chicken which cost an extra $5. Salad was not tasty. Walked away disappointed.

I am going to have to revise my review. My other friends wanted to go to Cat's and I was so not looking forward to it due to my prior visit. It turns out that it depends on how helpful your server is. I had a different server this time and I found out that the nachos ARE gluten free after all. There is also gluten free pizza, pasta and they will accommodate anything on the menu. Not only did I enjoy my nachos, our server was awesome. He was friendly and funny. This time I walked away happy ????

We reserved for a group of eight for a special anniversary and specifically requested to be near the piano. When we arrived it was obvious they were not prepared for us and hastily moved some tables together, (not near the piano.) After a round of drinks and appetizers our mains arrived but no dishes or glasses were cleared away. Food was good but not hot. We had brought a cake which they kindly said they would serve. It was brought to the table with plates but no forks. After several requests, one of our party went to the kitchen to get forks. We had gone specifically to hear pianist John Sherwood who was great, but part way through the meal loud recorded music suddenly came on over the beautiful piano. At the end of our meal our server had just disappeared...table still covered with dishes and glasses from all courses. We finally had to pay our bills at the cash register. The end of a disappointing evening. We will NOT return and will go to hear John Sherwood in another location.
