It was a rainy day, pretty cold as well. I was spending my first full day in Niagara Falls and Canada, and was all on my own. Soaking wet and a little lonely, I stumbled into Hi-Lite after passing by and deciding to try it out. Wow. I will never forget the hospitality, the amazing food, and the heartwarming experience I had there. The woman at the counter made me literally feel at home. She recommended a gravy turkey sandwich and fries to warm me up, and it was a meal I seriously can remember the taste of now, months later, and will never forget. I smile just thinking of the place. It crosses my mind often. I honestly hope that if you’re reading this and are close by, that you go eat there

Their fried chicken is great.. but I'm not picky when it comes to fried chicken. Generous portions for the price though.. definitely.. and I am cheap. Lol

Warm and inviting. Food was fresh, delicious and affordable. Pancakes were fluffy and I really enjoyed the coffee. Will definitely come again:)

A great spot for breakfast. I went in there starving but their plates were so big that I could not even finish what I ordered. So you get big portions at a very reasonable price. My waitress whose name I cannot remember right now was very friendly. Will definitely go there again.

Step back in time to this amazingly quaint diner in the heart of downtown Niagara Falls. Situated on Queen Street, this place serves up some scrumptious food including a club sandwich that's to die for. In house roasted turkey, the drippings are used to make the gravy for the fries. The milkshake we had lasted barely long enough for moisture to form on the outside of the glass. Definitely visit this place. But bring cash, as that's all they accept.
    Great value for your money.
