Shooks A Taste of Jamaica

This take out / dine-in restaurant consistently offers delicious, authentic, Jamaican cuisine (a taste that even brings my mom back to her own mother's cooking!!!)

From the first time my friend and I discovered this place, we have always been greeted with a kind and friendly warm welcome from the nice gentleman at the front!

Due to COVID-19, I have been hesitant about eating out - in general, but I feel very comfortable with this particular restaurant, because of the standard of cleanliness that has been displayed even before this pandemic.

As lovers of Jamaican food and customers traveling all the way from Scarborough, one of the best things to look forward to when taking a trip to Niagara Falls is stopping into "Shooks A Taste of Jamaica", for the real deal!!!

We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience a true taste of Jamaica!

Once you have tasted it you will always go back for more!!!!!!! :-)

We were on our way to another restaurant for lunch when we spotted this hidden gem! The food absolutely amazing. Taste was perfection! So good, we went back for dinner same day!

The curry goat was melt in your mouth tasteful. Definitely a place for authentic Jamaican cuisine. Owner and friends are so polite and friendly made us want to stay longer and enjoy the time!

Authentic is an understatement, some of the best Jamaican cuisine I’ve had in a while, and I live in philly! By far one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had! Lloyd the owner played a custom playlist catered to our liking and spoke sports with us! We definitely recommend to any one who is looking for the soulfulness and good conversation. They just opened in July, location is off the strip, and homely. Check them out!
