Zappi's Pizza And Pasta, Italian Eatery

I loved this place so much! The food was great. It wasn't overrun with tourists, the staff was very friendly and funny. The reason for the three stars was the amount of nats and mosquitoes. I got bite twice while eating dinner. It pains me to say that because their food was AMAZING. I would recommend taking the food to go until they find a way to get the bugs out! (Yes, we were eating indoors). I got the gnocchi and it was cooked to perfection!

Very nice location and employees. As soon as you walk in you will smell the tasty food. Egg plant spaghetti and pizzas are delicious. Nice patio on the side and lots of parking. Make sure to visit.

I had dinner with my family here during our trip to Niagara Falls. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Growing up Italian, I don’t normally order Italian food when we eat out. The service was good and the price was fair. Parking was easy. The stuffed pepper Penne, eggplant lasagna and pizza we’re all very good.

I left Zappi’s with a smile ear to ear. This is what you would expect to get from a true Italian restaurant. Simple flavours with high quality ingredients. Everything seasoned perfectly and completely delicious. Prepare to eat too much as you can’t stop it’s sooo good. The famous tomato sauce is a full bodied sauce with layers of flavour...a mouthful eyes closed and you are transported out of Ontario into a foreign land. (If you want a true meat sauce, there is an option on the menu- the famous tomato sauce is not a meat sauce but obviously some meat base/stock in it given the warnings for vegetarians- it’s delicious). Kids made their own pizza and we enjoyed both a medium pizza and the ricotta ravioli. Great food, great service and friendly people. I’ll be back here likely every time I visit the falls. Yum!

Nothing fancy about their famous sauce. Stuffed shells were good. I was expecting a meaty sauce full of flavour so I was disappointed.
Servers were polite and prompt and attentive.
It was quiet ( being off the main drag and a weeknight) and clean and cute. I probably would try the pizza on another visit
