Baraka Shawarma

Been going here for half a year after trying all the Shawarma around town. The fries instead of rice is delicious with the middle East spice they sprinkle on, if you feel in the mood for a Shawarma poutine. The chicken plate is the best dish and the beef or gyro is pretty good too. The Falafel is second best (Yaman's on Queenston has the best). Only Shawarma Hut on Hartzel is in the same league as Baraka. Baraka's does their own pickles and the pink pickled beets things homemade which is a huge plus. The salad is not so salty. The spices for the meat are very flavourful and they take the time to further prepare it after slicing to add more flavor from the grill. A+ and the staff are always very courteous. Call ahead with your order and pickup in 10 - 15 mins is the way to go.

Ordered chicken shawarma and a gyro through skip the dishes. Wraps were good. Fries were absolutely amazing, garden salads were fresh however quite plain and came with no dressing. I'd recommend as food was hot and fresh when it came. And those fries were outstanding.
