George's Greek Village

This restaurant is amazing. Clean, fresh homemade Greek food. Waitress was one of the best I have ever had. She encouraged us to to try some food we never had. I'd highly suggest the dips ss appetizer, so Amazing. If going for lunch beat the crowd, this is s Hot spot!

Stumbled upon this place on Yelp when I spent a weekend in Niagara-on-the-Lake and decided to check it out for its great reviews. The restaurant is very spacious and located by the water which was a bonus for a nice view. My group included 15 adults and kids and we called 30min ahead and they were able to accommodate our large group.

There is a nice, bright dining room in the back with lots of windows. We even watched a ship come down the canal beside the restaurant.
The chicken, lamb and peek kabobs were all tasty. The pork was the most tender and juicy. Unfortunately, the rice was almost crunchy. Both rice and potatoes were very bland. The Greek salad was good, with just the right amount of dressing.

At first when we got there, it didn't seem like anyone wanted to seat us. We waited a good 5 minutes before we even saw a hostess. When we finally did get seated (on a beautiful waterside patio) our waitress was amazing. The menu had all the Greek favorites. Food order was taken and arrived quickly. Amazing is what I would use to describe the food here. Delicious, dynamite food!

Excellent food service and atmosphere. All of the food we had was delicious even down to the coffee and salad. The free bread was the least appetizing thing and it's free so no complaints. Our waitress was very pleasant and good at her job. The atmosphere is very nice both in and outside on the patio. No complaints at all even the price for the amount we got was more than adequate and even cheaper than expected.
Very good restaurant in all aspects! 5/5 star
