Best pasta I've had in a long time. Mateo came to chat while we ate. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend when you are in Welland. I suggest you reserve.

Our dining experience at Matteo's In Welland, Ontario is always exceptional. The wood fired pizzas are phenomenal, the Veal Chop is delectable, the homemade Lobster Ravioli leaves your palette craving more and if the season is right Matt's homemade Apple Strudel with a special sauce is off the charts mouth watering.

The staff and atmosphere are very welcoming. The wine selection complements the menu perfectly and the food, the food was to die for! Freshly made and hot off the pan. I would highly recommend the lobster ravioli and the linguini carbonara. Call for reservations, it's a busy spot with limited seating.

Best gnocchi I've ever had. Everything we had was incredibly fresh and delicious. This is my new favorite restaurant. Treat yourself and go, you won't be disappointed. Reservations are best

What a wonderful cozy eatery. A local hotel clerk recommended Matteo’s several years ago when I was in the area on business. I was so impressed by the wood fired brick oven pizza and caprese salad that I have wanted to go back there ever since with my wife. We were in Niagara Falls this week and we drove to Welland for dinner at with my brother and his wife Wednesday evening. We each had something different and each agreed their meal was the best of that particular dish they ever tasted. Matteo himself explained the options to us and offered to modify the dish as we may desire. We so enjoyed the dinner that we went back last evening to try something different. My wife had the lasagna. She said it was amazing. I tasted it and have to agree. We live 5 hours south of Welland and Matteo’s will be our first stop if we are ever any where close to there again. Definitely worth the short 20 minute drive from the tourist traps in Niagara Falls.
