Mixed impressions.
The steak was ok, the pumpkin soup - very good. But the fish and chips - a solid miss, bland and watery.
The wait time was far too long - even for a long weekend. They could've offered to serve the soup early on, without waiting, because all it takes is just to ladle it from the pot...
And the price tag was a bit above what I'd see as adequate.

Amazing staff, delicious food..overall great experience. My kids really loved the food as well. Such kind people, reminded me of the hospitality we always experienced in New Zealand!!!

This place although only short staff makes up for each employee. Kind and generous when serving customers. Tip well here. The food is amazing despite being beside a gas station.

Really enjoy The Red Onion. Good Food and what a great Server. Food is always hot and is there in minutes. Server always accommodates any request when it comes to my kids. I have been going there for over a year now and haven't had any issues once. Don't let the outside appearance fool you its a GEM!!

Walked in, the restaurant was clean open, nicely styled. Kid friendly. The food was a good size portion for their pricing, staff was friendly, not pushy allowed people to take their time to order, eat. Had the BLT toasted perfectly light decent amount of bacon, ordered a side of onion rings and mozzarella sticks to split... they were fantastic and would order again
