Captain Robin's Family Restaurant

This is a food lover paradise. Friendly staff, coffee is good (extra coffee, too!)..fair and reasonable prices and did I say it is close to Lakeshore?

Took a little long to be able to order just because there was one server running around doing her best. We were patient and not in a rush. It was well worth the wait! Most breakfast places serve breakfast potatoes now so it was nice to finally eat at a place that serves actual hashbrowns! The portions were gigantic (we ordered the Breakfast of Champions) and you can't go wrong with the price. Can't wait to come back.

In my many visits during the last few years, have never been disappointed.
The place went through some changes in staff and menu but has remained consistent with great food, generous portions, and good value.
The place is laid back with nice views of Port Credit and just a stone throws away from a pleasant walk along the lake, which is mostly needed after so much food!
Highly recommended and is always a great choice to take friends and family for a good time.

As a vegetarian, I was impressed with the vegetarian options such as the quesadillas, large Greek salad and veggie burger. They even have sweet potato fries. When I ordered the tea, she came out with a big teapot for only $2.50 and it was so delicious. I loved the cost family style feel and vibe. It is charming and your perfect comfort food place. Staff were amazing. Food was fresh and tasty. I will be going back. A little diner gem in the hood :)
