Caribbean Rush

Went here expecting Grannies. Oxtail with rice and peas were good. I didnt have to wait very long portions were decent. I would definitely order again if in the area.

Well I'd say the taste of their food isn't so bad compared to other Jamaican restaurants i been too. Their service and prices have become outrageous over the years just getting poorer and poorer. It shocks me that the charge you extra 1.25 for an extremely small amount of coleslaw or veggies and i paid 1.25 for only two small pieces of plantain very stingy. I had to go back and mention that i ordered curry goat and majority of what was served to me was bone. When i agreed to pay for extra (for 3 dollars) she was acting like she didn't even want to serve me. When you go to this restaurant you have to be clear in what you want because when you look at your food you will be disappointed, if you want extra gravy, tell them dont want a heap of bone and no meat tell them, or expect dissatisfaction.

1 of my favourite Jamaican restaurant's. Love their soups and patties. I've been going there for about 7 years now.

My all-time fave Jamaican take-out! Sometimes staff is a bit slow (Island time? ????) but they are all extremely helpful. I used to go here a lot but hadn't been there in about a year and the staff all remembered me! Can't say enough good things about this place. Parking sucks but that has nothing to do with the restaurant!
