Craft Chippery Mississauga is a store at the (inside mall) entrance to the new Food District within Square One Shopping Centre.
Everything here is premium, fresh chips or nachos and dips (e.g. Artichoke and Asiago, Roasted Red Pepper, etc) made in front of you. There are a wide array of seasonings (e.g. Jerk Chicken, Montreal Smoked Meat, Hickory Smoked Bacon, Backyard BBQ, Salt & Malt, White Cheddar, etc.) depending on what you're in the mood for and it's all tasty!
I'm buying a small $4 bag of Sour Cream & Onion chips after sampling the treat.
Service was quick and courteous.
crisp and thin cut. I loved the mixed bag and my favorite is the taro and sweet potato. It is expensive just like everything else in the market but worth to try.
Located in the newly opened food district in side of Square One Mall is a cool little local owned chip store that sells freshly made chips. My wife first brought it home for me which was a bag of sweet potato, cassava, plantain, tortilla and taro chips, to my surprise it was very good, tasty and felt gourmet.
I went back with my wife another time and noticed that they also make nachos, actually a bunch of cool combinations. Some of the ones I noticed were their jerk chicken flavour, savoury BBQ chicken, and Montreal smoked meat. I ended up getting an order of their Montreal smoked meat nachos which consists of their small batch tortilla chips, Montreal smoked meat, cheddar cheese, green onions, and some mustard sauce. Wow explosion of flavours in your mouth with every bite because they actually layer everything when they build your nachos.
I noticed other than chips they also sell original humus, salsa, cheddar cheese, and roasted red pepper dip for you to enjoy with their tortilla chips. We bought a bottle of their salsa and I found that it is on the slightly sweeter side of things, I would have enjoyed it more if it was a little more tangy. Once you have a few bite of the tortilla with their salsa the spice does seem to punch you in the face though which I enjoyed and totally forgot that the salsa was on the sweeter note of things.
We will for sure be back to try their other nacho combinations and other chips.
Cheers!!!
Tried the white cheddar and backyard bbq, its pretty good. All round full pieces which I like and not a bunch of bits and break off pieces. White cheddar does gets a little too much after a lot of pieces, so I do recommend to get two or four flavors instead of one. They do let you try it before buying it and I like how they have smaller bag around $4+ instead of buying a bigger bag with one flavor only.
