Love this vegetarian, South Indian place. Food is tasty and authentic. However, would not recommend a couple to go on a special occasion. It is very busy and they keep the tables very close to each other.

Always like the service, strongly recommend getting a reservation ahead of time or you will be waiting a long time. Food is decent with great selection, I think the menu is toooo big and I recommend them trimming some of the choices. The noise level is another thing - too noisy there but I don't blame the restaurant. Maybe some soothing music may help. I am being too critical here but I will still come back here in future

The food is fantastic!!! There is no comparison but service is not so great.... we had same experience
3-4 times. We walk in after 9 (with reservations) and as soon as we start eating after some time lady will come to table and ask. Will you pay by cash or card!? Other person will come .. can clear those empty plate? We are preparing for closing so (10 pm). and before we finish last piece of idli she will be standing there with bill. My husband will collect bill... we haven't even had water yet after dinner.
But guess what we still go over n Over again because food is so delicious, generous portions, great quality and totally value for money. but please guys we understand you want to go home. But please let us finish the meal.

I have not eaten too many dosa so I can not speak to if that's a good portrayal of how they should be. I am told they are very authentic. What I can speak to is the amazing balance of flavour that they are able to achieve. It was incredible. I like spicy food but am weary of ordering spicy (I did here) at places that serve Indian cuisine. In this case I could have easily gone for extra spicy but that is only because the chutneys balanced out the heat so well. Do note my wife, who grew up eating this cuisine thoroughly enjoyed the medium spicy level. The food was spicy, cool, sweet, and salty all at the same time. Only go if you have made a reservation as they constantly turned people away as they were too booked. I definitely recommend this restaurant for everyone!
