Peter's On Eglinton Restaurant

I'm not sure how an out of date run down joint gets five stars. Any one making this a five star restaurant must only eat at Burger King and Subway (not that there's anything wrong with that)...The staff looks burnt out and that old guy greeting everyone looks like he belongs on the Adam's family. Sure it's nice that you get two meals to bring home. I more into paying for a decent meal with flavor than getting a lump of unflavored food and requiring a trolly to bring home the leftovers

Very nice service, absolutely huge portions. The place was bumping - lots of people in there.
Food was ok... Would not probably go back, but it's because it's not our taste. I can see how people would like the atmosphere and friendly service. Seems like a lot of regulars go. To be fair, they said their specialty is the smoked meat, which is not our thing, so again, just not for us.

Have been going here since i was a kid. It's a very homey place, with an old interior that hasn't been updated for as long as I can remember but still holds charm. The waiters have been working there for as long as I've been going. You're always greeted by the owner or his son. The food comes in incredibly large portions and usually arrives quickly. There can be a fairly long wait on the weekends but it's worth it for a good smoked meat sandwich. I find their chicken sandwiches can be a bit dry so stick with smoked meat or corned beef and haven't gone wrong.

Excellent greek restaurant. Reasonable prices, excellent food and high level of service. It seems it is a family owned one as the owner is around all the time. We were 4 families/ 9 adults and 2 kids and ordered Greek and non Greek food. Everyone was very satisfied with his plate and half of us had lunch boxes at the end. I believe that the restaurant assume that every one going there is very hungry.

Peter's on Eglinton is surely one of the nicest places that I've eaten. Food quality is delicious, the serving size is huge! The prices are very reasonable. Definitely deserves the 5 star rating that I've seen from other people who've ranked it already.
