    This place is amazing, and has been amazing for the last 30 years. Ive been going there since i was 8 years old and I am currently 31. The hot braised chicken is so good, I had it for dinner and breakfast...currently eating it as we speak.

    God bless this place and the hands that prepare the food.

    Was recommended this place by a good friend of mine, who insisted I order the Hot Braised Chicken. I called to make a takeout order and the service was friendly and spot-on. The food was ready on time, hot, and delicious! Well deserved 5 Stars and I'll be back real soon! Thanks Shanghai House!

    My go to Chinese food.
    Been ordering since I was 15. So that shows I've been enjoying it for the last 16 years.
    The prices can't be beat and the portions are huge! Which is perfect because we all love leftovers.
    The staff is wonderful. Always there to help you out .And quick too. Unless the weather is horrible i have never waited long for my food. Usually call it in on my way home from work and within 10 minutes if being home ive got dinner.

    Three words: hot braised chicken.

    The flavour hits your taste buds like a brick to the face. It's a strange combination of sweet, savoury, and spicy; I have yet to experience anything like it anywhere else. The chicken is always moist and juicy on the inside as well, not dry and stringy like some other Chinese restaurants.

    I cannot recommend it enough.
