The Golden Pheasant

Absolutely fantastic food. The portions are unbelievable especially the Wiener Schnitzel

Great wiener schnitzel. Potion size was huge. Accompanied sides were ok. Rice was tasty. We actually ordered fries... but waiter thought we wanted rice. No worries; waiter gave us a huge side order. Interior of restaurant is a little dated; more like a pub. We could see they were very busy with takeout orders. Definitely need to come back and try menu items.

The portion size of the schnitzel is unbelievable. I'm not kidding. We took our mothers last night and suggested they split a plate because of the size. They clearly couldn't visualize what we were saying because they each ordered their own. The look on their faces when the platters arrived was priceless! Beyond the size, they are also very good. And get the potato salad as a side. Fantastic. And so reasonably priced when you consider my wife and I got 4 meals out of one plate. Of course, I could've eaten one plate myself.

Amazing food, large portions for very good price. Just like how my grandma used to make. Staff was nice too

Being a Slovak I know what this food is supposed to taste like. And let me tell you. It’s mind-blowing to me how it tastes exactly as my mother’s. It’s nice that I can go to a place that feels like home. I would love to kiss the cook lol. The potato salad was to die for. Best I have ever had there or ever in my life. My husband agreed and he’s not Slovak. Poor man. Even though I am on a no sugar and no carbohydrates lifestyle diet I will always close my eyes and eat to my heart’s content when I go to the Golden Pheasant. Nazdravie!
