The Kebab Bistro

This place is a hidden gem. From the outside it looks like another place to pick a fast bite, but was quite surprised by the taste and quality of the food.

They did take long to have our food ready, shut the wait was worth.

We ended up there because the Chinese place in the same plaza uses plastic containers even to serve dine in guest, we ara trying to reduce our plastic use so that place wasn’t an option anymore.

The Kebab Bistro uses actual plates and cutlery, they could do without the plastic containers for the sauces and reusable cups for water, but every change counts. Keep it up!

You know, despite the high ratings I had my doubts about this place. I've been to every Afghani kabob shop available in Mississauga and they all pale in comparison to Bamiyan. But this place is legit.

I got tandoori chicken, the meat was cooked beautifully. The seasoning was great, rice was delicious, and it came with a proper yummy salad. The side sauces were good too. The lunch special is a great deal, perfect portion.

Definitely exceeded my expectations, keep up this quality! This will be a new regular lunch spot for me.

Nine of us came in last night for a birthday supper - they weren't fazed at all, and all of the dinners came out correct and at the same time. The food is brilliant, with generous portions of perfectly cooked meats literally spilling off the plate. The rice is fragrant and the salads crisp and fresh. The young men at the counter were friendly and helpful and the gentleman in the back gave us a smile as we left.
Atmosphere is casual and relaxed, the space was very clean, and the prices I think are better than some of the others larger Afghan restaurants.
We drove 45 kms each way to get there and it was worth it - definitely a hidden gem!
