Ordered tofu pudding, the tofu pudding itself tastes good but the tapioca and q ball taste like these were cooked long time ago

Had been to this place on a summer afternoon. I really liked their selection of drinks and desserts. I only got to try the ZenQ milk tea with Grass Jelly. As for food, we opted for the chicken noodle combo. The portions were good and enough for myself and my wife. The dessert menu was huge with different types of desserts such as puddings, ice cream bowls, sundaes/frappes, waffles and so much more. These were not your day to day desserts and looked quite unique.
I liked the concept of writing down the food you want to order. You are given a card to fill out your choices of drinks, food and desserts. The codes made it easier to write the order. It definitely makes for more accurate order. Also liked the fact that we could specify how much sugar we wanted in it.
The ambiance was okay. it was that of a modern fast food place where you could grab food on the go or sit down and have food if you wanted to.
Overall, I liked the place, mostly due to the extensive menu of interesting looking drinks and Taiwanese desserts. Definitely coming back here for more.

Fun atmosphere, clean and bright interior. Our group had a mixed opinion of the dishes we ordered. The guys liked their selections of mango shave ice and chocolate shave ice. I had the taro shave ice and to me it tasted a bit artificial, it was ok but not great. Another in our group got the mando coconut pudding which comes in a coconut and it was not what she expected it as more like jelly made from the water of the coconut and mango which was not bad but a different texture and not as flavorful as we were expecting more of a coconut cream style. The servers were friendly but only 1 out of the 3 spoke English with any confidence so it was challenging to get clear answers to our questions about the menu.

The staff is always very friendly. The dining area is always kept clean and tidy. The music is perfect for the type of food and culture they provide. Prices are very fair considering the portion sizes and there is a lot of variety on the menu :) it's always a great experience dining in at ZenQ :D
