Food was outstanding was server female in the restaurant in November 10 at 9:45 pm was rude and not friendly .
Staff quality very poor zero customer service attitude but food is amazing !
Taste not bad, price reasonable, service ok, just some dishes might be spicy, plus they already add 10% service charge.
It has been a while without revisiting this restaurant only because it usually has a long waiting time. This time wasn't bad at all. We waited for approximately 20 mins to get a table.
Food quality is good as usual but maybe kind of salty for people not used to spicy northern cuisine. There seems to be understaff but everyone worked really hard and tried to respond as quickly as possible.
The restaurant is kind of small and people is lining up next to you when you are dining. I would give another star if a better arrangement for waiting is offered as no one would like dining next to a long queue. You would have a feeling of dining in the street.
Pretty good value, delicious dishes! We ordered their hotplate(pot??) With their classic broth and tilapia. The fish comes out as whole so if you are not used to taking out fish spine, beware. Broth is just spicy enough that it gives kick without being too hot.
With all the extra toppings and a bowl of rice, the total price came out just over $60 among 3 people and I think it is very reasonable for the type of food we had. (Wouldn't say plentiful but definitely was enough) The only problem is that the service is real slooowww but... Will be back.
I really enjoy the food here. As someone who only speaks English, the website not being legible may put some people off but don't let it. The staff are fluent in English and the food is fantastic. Service is punctual and polite. Food is prepared fast enough and is mainland China quality Hunan cuisine. Authentic and delicious. Pricing is competitive, $7 for a side (pork fried rice for example) and $13-14 for a main. Washrooms have been clean whenever I've visited, restaurant itself is spacious, not too loud and clean. -1 star for the not so accessible webpage but everything else receives top marks.
