The staff behave like they don't expect any dine-in customers, seemed lost when told we were dining in, we had to get up and go order then pay at the counter and they never checked on us during the meal. Otherwise, my guest thoroughly enjoyed her ox-tail and my veggie dish (very limited selection) was good too. The girls were nice, if somewhat inattentive. I'll go again anyway! ....”

“This is the 3rd location I've visited. And it's MUCH smaller than the stand alone stores. But the food is still awesome! I had the 6oz Blue Moon Combo with onion rings. I substituted goat cheese for blue, because I love, love, love goat cheese! And I added onions, relish, mustard and hero sauce. It is an EXTREMELY busy location, because its just north of the 401, and part of a mall where a large gas station with a Timmie's is. Because it was so busy, I didn't even have to ask for a freshly cooked patty, which I normally do anywhere that I order a burger, so that it's piping hot and not sitting under a heat lamp! Onion rings were freshly made and piping hot too! And a generous portion. The young woman at the counter was very nice and helpful. The burger was, as usual, AWESOME! Generous amount of goat cheese, and not AT ALL greasy, dripping with oil, OR slimy, as a few reviews said. And. For the record, hero burgers NEVER ARE. And yes. You pay extra for double patties, premium buns and premium toppings. (which you do ANYWHERE!) And yes, you pay $4 to make it a combo, which is reasonable, because this is a high end, high quality burger joint! And finally, YES, it's more expensive than McDonald's, because this is ANGUS BEEF, from the famous Beretta Farms, which restaurant chefs buy from! And you can TASTE the quality of the beef as a result! Seriously reviewers, what did you expect? Seats are nicely cushioned, so they're quite comfortable, which is nice. AWESOME, as usual Hero! “Ordered BLT with well done home fries. The BLT was quite good however the home fries were not well done. When I asked if the potatoes were well done, the proprietor said they could not be well done due to the type of potatoe. The salt/pepper and the sugar containers were filthy. The room was freezing. I mentioned this and was told the temp was set to 19 C. He came back later and said he'd turned the temp up to 20 C. We forgot to order coffee and were not asked. When we did order coffee it took a while to come because they made a fresh pot. They did not charge me for the home fries which I will take home to cook more.”

“I visited this diner because i got a new job close by and decided to check it out. When i walked in I was greeted by the waitress , she was very friendly and smiling. I ordered the Max Burger and fries to go, while i waited i had a bottle of beer. The food came out fairly quickly and i paid and drove 2 minutes back to work to eat. when i opened the bad i found a container of food, napkins, wet naps, a fork, and some condiments. The coleslaw was good, came in a small plastic cup. The fries were decent, they were not hot and crispy. more like warm and a bit soft. The burger was very good. definitely worth the price. The beef patty was homemade, and was huge. It was a bit overcooked but with everything on the burger it was still good. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. bacon was good, lots of cheese.I am glad i checked this spot out, definitely worth the money. Rating 4 stars because of the fries not being crispy and the patty being slightly overcooked, which you can most likely request them made how you like it. so not that big of a deal. Definitely going back to try more items on the menu ,”

“Went here for some lunch with a colleague and it was great. The food was nice and the atmosphere was kind. I got a veal sandwich only and my colleague got the same thing plus a slice of pizza. The sandwich was pretty good. The sauce was nice as well as their toppings - mushrooms and sweet peppers. The veal itself was a little bit hard in some places but was still good. Would recommend for anyone who wants a decent lunch.”
