I did not expect it to be this delicious but every item was prepared with care and fresh ingredients. From the presentation to texture and first impressions, it was an incredible experience. “We got catering from Salt and Pepper for a birthday party. The food arrived on time and was very fresh and tasty. The food was prepared according to our preferences and everything genuinely tasted delicious! The salt and pepper fish was to die for! The chilly beef was very tender and the sauce was very tasty. And the sweet and sour chicken was delicious as well (and did not taste like ketchup as many places do it). The house special rice and noodles were also flavourful and tasty. We even got some complimentary spring rolls with our food. Our guests continuously complemented the food and many of them wanted to take it home too! We were really happy with our experience. I highly recommend salt and pepper for delicious and fresh Hakka food.”

“Great place for cheap Chinese food. It's the typical Chinese fast food restaurant. I usually order the salt and pepper chicken wings or pork chop because they are absolutely delicious ! They lady there gave me a discount when I purchased two dishes or more dishes. It only costed me $13 after tax for 2 dishes and a box of rice ! Definitely reasonable. Portions are more than enough for two people. We had plenty of leftovers. Bubble teas here are also cheaply priced. Only $2.50 for a large bubble tea with tapioca, ice cream and jelly !! ”

“The food here is very good! The place is beautiful with high ceilings. It wasn't very busy at all on a Friday night. I can see parking would be tight on the busy days. The staff was pleasant but nonexistent after all the food lands. They were not busy at all and it was still a challenge too flag them down for water refills. Overall is was a pleasant experience.”

“My family and I have been loyal customers of House of pepper for at least the past 15 years. The food is always fresh and flavorful. The lady at the front counter always remembers my face and my order, always greets me with a smile and a "how are you?, same order?" All the stalls in this food court are excellent, but I always feel at home when I come to house of pepper, hands down my favorite sweet and sour pork in the city!”

“This hidden gem is a great place to buy duck. They use very little salt and the taste is up my alley. I ordered their special roasted pork and chicken and rice $6.99 and side of duck $8.99 they were not stingy with portion sizes. I was referred to this surprising gem by a friend of mine. I feel like I entered China Town without leaving Mississauga. Will buy again from here.”

“I had the spicy squid with rice and a drink ($8). It was pretty good, although the squid could have been a bit spicier. The rice was cooked well and overall the dish tasted pretty good - but I have definitely had better. The portion was good for the price and service was pretty quick. Staff is always very nice and lots of parking is available on site. Very much so your typical Chinese fast food place. I will be back again.”

“Came here today for a children's Christmas party for the first time with a 3 month old. She s too young to play the games. But being new parents we were surprised that there were no family washrooms for parents with babies. Some parts of the establishment seemed dated and the TV's were old and fuzzy screens. The pizza however was really good. I just think that they need to up their game and keep up with the times and update their amenities and this place will be perfect for everyone to enjoy.”

“If you have a big family like mine, this is the place to go! They are so accommodating for large groups and the location is large and spacious. The food was very tasteful and was brought out in a timely manner. The burger was definitely cheesy and the patty tasted good and juicy. The sesame bun was good too. the milkshake was good as well and it’s very filling.
