I don't typically review restaurants or bars, but in this particular instance, I felt it was very important to acknowledge this Wild Wing. My husband and I were married on Saturday August 3rd. As is Irish tradition, we chose to go to the local bar the following day and any of our guests could follow for a few bites to eat and drinks. We chose to go to Wild Wing on Dalton Road. When we arrived, some of our guests were already there. One of them mentioned to me that the Bartender was on her own that day. Figures that would happen when a large group comes in. Murphy's Law I suppose. It wasn't just our group, there were of course other customers there too. The reason I wanted to write this is because she deserves an exceptional amount of praise. Ashley (I asked her name) handled herself impeccably. Right from the start, she was calm and well mannered. She barely showed anyone how overwhelmed she likely felt. She remained friendly throughout the day and stayed on top of every order with no errors at all. There was not a single guest that didn't comment afterwards about how well she performed under such pressure. Also, I'm not sure who was working in the kitchen (didn't catch his name) but I feel he deserves praise as well. We ordered a lot of food. Everything came out perfectly. No mistakes, food was delicious and hot. I certainly hope the Management and/or Owner gives them praise for staying so cool and doing such a great job. Thank you Ashley and Teammate in the kitchen.
